About this product
An open spool pulls moisture out of Indian air within hours — and wet filament is what strings, pops and snaps mid-print. This box seals a 1kg spool behind a gasketed snap-lock lid, stands it on a printed roller base so it turns freely, and feeds it out through a bulkhead port, so the spool never has to come out to print. Sold single, or in sets that cost less per box for a bench running more than one material.

Print-direct setup, step by step
- 01Load the spool
Seat the spool on the internal bearing, label facing up.
- 02Thread the PTFE port
Feed filament through the sealed grommet without opening the lid.
- 03Latch both buckles
Engage the dual buckles until the silicone gasket compresses evenly.
- 04Print as usual
Feed straight into your extruder — the container stays sealed throughout.

Should you DIY this?
A gasket-sealed food container plus desiccant can absolutely keep filament dry. What this box adds: a printed roller base sized for 1kg reels, a pre-fitted bulkhead port so you never break the seal to print, and a gasket tolerance-matched to the lid at the factory rather than by trial and error.

FAQ
It removes moisture as a variable. Stringing, popping and weak layers with root causes elsewhere (temperature, retraction, cooling) still need those settings fixed — this handles the humidity half.
